The flexibility and convenience of being able to focus on providing clinical skills. There’s always plenty of time between visits and consideration for your commute and time. The support from the clinical operations team is second to none, someone is always there to help with a fast response and the platform is so simple and user friendly.

It’s more personalised and patient centred. You can tell patients really appreciate that you can come to them and fit around their schedule. They are always happy to see you and you feel your work is appreciated.

I also enjoy how flexible and autonomous the work is, on the days I am able to fit in a couple of hours to work with Heim it almost all the time works really well.

Honestly, again I would have to say the team always going going extra mile for thier staff members. You are constantly supported and trusted to do the job you are set to you and it really goes a long way. I also think with the new app it's a game changer for Heim, with other companies you are usually met with complicated systems and miscommunication and that can be frustrating. Efficiency is the word, straight forward Efficiency
What’s your favorite part about doing at-home appointments?
My favourite part is meeting the different patients and getting to know each of them. What can start as a quick 15-20 minute appointment can be turned into full enjoyable conversation. I think people appreciate it when you have taken the time to come to their house and help towards their health. It's always been about the people. Another favourite part is getting to know the staff more, which has been really fun 😁

What do you think sets us apart from other companies?
Heim are always striving and looking at new ways to adapt and bring services to the community that no one else has managed to achieve yet. They share ideas with their practitioners and ask for their feedback and also welcome ideas on how to develop and improve. They understand that your time is precious and they make sure that you know you are a valued member of the team and that the work you do is appreciated. If we are joining a meeting online, I see a lot of familiar faces time and time again, which is important to me as a company that retains it’s staff clearly shows that they value the knowledge and expertise that their practitioners bring.
What’s your favorite part about doing at-home appointments?
My favourite thing about at home appointments is seeing how much more relaxed clients are. It is then much easier to build a rapport with them and put their mind at ease if they have any questions, and they will sometimes share important information that they may not have done if they had been in a more clinical environment. Some clients I have been to on several occasions now and it’s lovely to go back and not only find out if they feel they are getting the benefit of any treatment, but also catch up on anything nice they and their family may have been up to since the last time they saw me!
